PVRT changes effective April1 2008

Greetings,

In light of recent changes to the PVRT (copy of ICBC notice is available here, taxation branch notice is here), a new version of the ImEX shop management systems will be available on April 1 2008. As the system update has to be completed manually and we can attend to a limited number of shops during regular work day, I suggest that you keep track of any PVRT due until your system is updated. We will work on extended schedule to address the needs of our customers as soon as possible. You will be contacted shortly to arrange for data transfer.
Additional information about the PVRT can be obtained from the taxation branch or you’re your local claim center.
As of April 12008, ImEX is the only shop system in British Columbia capable of automatic calculations of PVRT and CL113B forms and the only system fully compatible with the new regulations regarding PST on rental vehicles and PVRT.
